It's okay. Reasonably clean, friendly employees, the "day-old" bread is often as soft as what's available in the grocery store, and there are tables full of ("relatively") inexpensive Hostess (type) snack items. Two things to be aware of: Along the rear wall, you will find a small assortment of non-bread shelf-stable grocery items; they are overpriced! Which is somewhat shameful for a "poor folks" bread store, in my opinion, especially considering the fact that a lot of the customers are elderly and might not notice the prices. But it is what it is. Oh, and the second thing to be aware of? There are "pickle in a bag" items. Do NOT buy one! They taste vaguely like a pickle - and massively like the chemical (preservatives/stabilizers?) ingredients. Or maybe that's what happens to a pickle when the manufacturer puts vinegar (an acid) into a plastic bag. Regardless, don't even buy one as a gag gift. You can stop at a grocery store and get an entire jar of Mount Olive brand dill pickle spears for roughly the same price, especially when on sale - and they taste great. Even the Mount Olive "dill pickle juice" brine tastes great, provides relief from leg cramps in the night if you SLOWLY

I have been meaning to stop at this store for months. Today, happily, I was able to sync up with their hours of operation and I am so glad I did. Tony opted to stay in car but Deacon went with me on our journey. I was able to get a fresh loaf of Wonder Bread for only $1.39 and a couple boxes of lunch cakes at $1.50 per box for Tony's lunch. Deacon got a Oreo Cakester for a treat for being such a good little man at doctor's office. Definitely stopping again!

Always worth shopping here. Got 2 loaves of Nature's Own 100% wheat bread for $1.75 each. And 2 loaves of Dave's Thin-Sliced Organic Good Seed; Dave's Thin-Sliced 21 Whole Grain & Seeds bread; Dave's 21 Whole Grain & Seeds Buns for $2.00 each. Our TOTAL for 5 items: $9.50. In a regular grocery store the total of just 2 loaves of Dave's bread would have been between $12-$14.00!

Just left there after not being able to purchase anything due to mask issues. I have bought from this store several times this year and never worn a mask due to breathing issues and never had an problem with the staff. However today was a problem. I was told to leave or wear a mask even after I informed him I had a medical condition with a Doctor excuse. It is my understanding I am not to be refused service and will be checking into this further. Also I would like to add that this clerk has waited on me before and never been an issue.
